CRM
Find, edit and organise CRM customers
Use search, filters and table controls to keep customer records usable.
Before you begin
- Sign in to Eva and select the intended project.
- Use fictional records when practising; changes affect the selected business.
Starting screen: /dashboard/crm?mode=manage
1. Search the customer list
Enter a name or known value in Search customers. Review the Customer provider selector if the record came from an integration.
Expected result: The table shows matching records within the active project.
Confirm it worked: Clear the search and compare the count if a record is missing.
2. Review available columns
Click Columns to inspect the customer fields available in the table. Close the picker when finished.
Expected result: The column picker lists the available fields, including Website and Updated.
Confirm it worked: Use the visible field names to choose the information you need to review.
3. Edit a customer
Open Open actions for [customer name] and choose Edit customer. Update the displayed fields and save using the form’s save action.
Expected result: The updated record replaces the prior visible values.
Confirm it worked: Reload and search for the revised name or contact information.
4. Review selection and pagination
Use the checkbox Select [customer name] to select a record. Follow the table’s available page controls for larger lists.
Expected result: Selection and paging apply to the displayed list.
Confirm it worked: Clear selection when finished and check filters before concluding a record is absent.
Troubleshooting and alternatives
If a website is rejected, enter the complete address beginning with https://, then create the customer again. Your entered fields remain available.
After switching projects, clear a remaining search or filter if you cannot see the customer you expect. Confirm the project name before editing records.
